Lazy Sunday Dreaming

This morning seems to be the start of a much needed lazy day.  Yesterday my boyfriend and I spent all day gardening, which is my least favorite activity ever! When I was younger my parents used gardening a a form o punishment for me-I guess it's funny what you do it extreme situations.  My parents are still in Florida, and at this point not sure when they are coming home.  So I need to do he best I can to take care of the house :)

Today was such a cool day in the Philadelphia area, but it looked gorgeous out.  That means...perfect day for a maxi dress.  I didn't get any full length shots of the dress, but there is a close up on my jewelry & new bird ring :) On a side note...Ordered some Grey Ant sunglasses last week, but not loving them so they will be going right back.

Sorry for the short stint away from the blogosphere. I took a few days off and went on a mini trip to Florida to visit with my Grandmother and rest of my family. We just found out wo weeks ago that she has endemetriatic (spelling?) cancer. While I was there I got to spend some quality time with her before there isn't any left. Each day was worse then the day before, and it was quite sad to see. Now I don't want this to be a sad post, so I will try to fill you in on what you missed...

I dropped off 5 bags of clothes & a tub of shoes to Goodwill-yet I still have too much clothing! More cleansing is still needed.

I am off to the Phillies game today-I am a pretty big fan. I even went to Spring training in Florida this year.

This is from my last game-Red Phanatic! My boyfriend gets a season ticket package. I hate our seats because they are 3rd level, he loves them because they are front row. I guess I shouldn't complain since I don't pay for them.

Material Girl

Since I am on a shopping ban, I seem to forget how to dress. My mission for tomorrow is to come up with a completely new outfit from clothes i already own. I will post pictures to show how I did

So considering I am not buying anything right now, my "wish list" has gotten pretty long. However I am proud that the top 3 are non materialistic :)

I wish...

1. Cancer would go away forever and stop hurting my loved ones

2. to be with my family in Florida right now

3. to laugh more

4. I had more time to appreciate things instead of always being in a hurry to get nowhere

5. for a Balenciaga bag

6. Grey Ant shades

7. for no bills (or more dolla dolla bills yo!)

8. to go see Chelsea Chelsea bang Bang tour

9. for a shorter commute to work

10. someone would come clean my room for me

Easter Blanket

This is what I would like to call my "Easter Blanket"- I call it a cape, my boyfriend calls it a blanket. We clearly rarely agree on anything. But I enjoy my cape, and it was the perfect outerwear piece for the Borgata since they refuse to keep that place at a consistent temperature. I had to keep taking it on and off.

Steph and I are trying to possibly set up a double blog, where we both post entries. We think it'd be an awesome blog, but we don't know how to set up the page :( Hopefully Steph crack the HTML code soon!

On another note, I am trying to get a new camera so I can post some photos, but seeing as how I bought new Marc Jacobs shoes today instead, I may have to wait another week or break out my old camera.

My boyfriend and I are going to the Borgata this weekend. I hate gambling and would so much rather have something to show for my money. But hopefully I will be able to twist his arm and go to the pier at Caesar's while we are there.

Came home to yet another package yesterday, although it was makeup so not quite as fun :(

I have quite a few errands to run today & a wedding shower to attend, so i probably will not have another post on here today. But I do plan on picking up a new pair of flip flops at Nordstrom-since it's so BEAUTIFUL out today! Now just debating on color...
